Couldn't be married or pregnant but you could be republican, how perverted is that.

If anyone can bring to life the trailblazing personality of Lucille Ball, it’s Aaron Sorkin.
Can’t wait to see this picture.

I loved Lucy! One of the funniest, smartest, most talented women in the world and I'm privileged that I grew up with her, if only on my television. ❤❤

Good evening Mr. Williams. Tonight, I learned on Mediaite that Thursday is your final episode of the 11th Hour With Brian Williams. I'm sad to learn that you're leaving MSNBC. The 11th Hour With Brian Williams is one of my favorite shows. I enjoy listening to your dry wit, sarcasm, analysis and the way you present the news. MSNBC won't be the same without you. I would like to personally thank you for all your contributions to NBC News and MSNBC. Best of luck to you in your future endeavors.

He got it backwards. The twin beds were together from the start of the series, but then got separated when she got pregnant.

I LOVE LUCY!!! One if the best TV shows ever. Grew up watching it and still love the reruns. She was a phenomenal comedian and actress, Dezi a great Cuban Band leader in real life. When I was about 5 I wanted to marry Ricky Ricardo !

He said if I heard correctly, was CBS. Didn't exist then. It was from under standing, the FCC

MSNBC is the most powerful liars by omission since they still will not come ckean on why they hired a freelancer to tail the Rittemhouse jurors.

The one thing that hasn't changed is the Republican party being fake outraged.

Bad casting choice. Nicole Kidman? They didn't even get the make up right, doesn't sound anything like her. Lucy had an amazing voice and presence, Nicole is white bread

  • John Watt on December 9, 2021

Lucille Ball was American, not Australian. Ricky Ricardo was Cuban, not Mexican.
If you want to talk about television in the black and white era, you should mention one of the broadcast
statements about their programming, saying they respect being allowed to come into the households
of their viewers. That disappeared with all the statements saying educational television will be popular.

Lucile ball is one of the most beautiful and powerful women ever

  • Ken Albertsen on December 10, 2021

I recently watched some 'I Love Lucy' shows, …which were filmed the year I was born, 1952. Lucy and Desi were both great and loveable. He was also an adept Latin band leader.

  • Jeffery's Mom!!! on December 21, 2021

I just watched this and i can only say one thing!!!! The best lines Sorkin had going for him on this one went right up his nose…He must of snorted and smoked a railroad car full of Cocaine to produce this ULTRA WATERED down version of these peoples lives…OMG I was barely alive when all this was going on and he missed all the lite crap I knew

  • Leslie Jones on December 22, 2021

There is nothing about the film that I would change. Perfectly cast, directed and written, I forgot I was watching Nicole 30 seconds in and thought Lucy was back with us. She and Javier had terrific chemistry. It was wonderful. Having grown up with Lucy, like millions of us, it made me miss her even more. A legend and the greatest comedic actress ever.

  • Lynn Turman on December 22, 2021

I've been a Lucy fan since I was a little kid. But the older I get, the more I'm fascinated with Desi Arnaz. What he had to overcome as a child & how he became such an innovator & entrepreneur in the early days of television is absolutely amazing. His is the quintessential American rags to riches story.

  • Bubb on December 29, 2021

I began streaming this last night. Turned it off after the first 20 or 30 minutes. It was SO boring. The story and the action weren’t clear. And the dialogue was atrocious, overwritten as F. The acting was good, though.

Then I found out it was “from the pen of Aaron Sorkin.” No wonder. Sorkin is always the same: no imagination. He just is not creative in any sense of the word. Not even when he was high (which is why he probably got high in the first place).

He tries and tries to be “hip,” “with it,” and “in the groove.” His characters inform you right away that they know a thing or two about life in general with particular emphasis on the School of Hard Knocks. His characters are oh so sophisticated, have been there and done that. They’re better than anyone else’s characters. But all they are is a reflection of Aaron Sorkin, who comedienne Jo Anne Worley best summed up when she said, “BOOOOORE – RIIIING!”

Aaron Sorkin is naive, uninformed on what he’s writing about and cornball to the point where it’s either laughable or embarrassing to watch. I’ve seen some film or video interviews of him and read about him a little over the years. He’s not nearly as talented as he thinks he is. He’s always talking about his “writing process.” He seems to take dictation from fast-moving thought processes that come out of his brain. The result is a muddled mess that’s hard to understand.

Funny, while he’s always talking about writing — his own, of course — you never hear him mention reading. What he reads, I mean. Books. He doesn’t have time for them, I guess. Maybe he should make time.
