1:57.. "khbib is struggling a little bit".. No he didnt.. He was planning to drain his opponent's energy out. And he brilliantly twisted his body left and right to get extra air in order to avoid getting "sleep"
I love Al IaQquinta . He is very humble..
Looks like everyone falling short of words to describe khabib's performance. Maybe AL describe it little better that everyone so used to see khabib being dominant that even if he somehow get caught for a short time people overreacted on it.
Al is still a beast. Dude took the fight in super short notice. Not prepared for a grappler and still held strong for 5 rounds . So mad respect…. But there was no blueprint.
What about khabibs preparation?
Different ufc fighters in one week?
Connors tactics on the bus?

Hate to break it to these guys but Khabib said he was faster than al and he purposely stoop up with him because he wants the 5 round experience for his future championship fights. Lmao
He said 25 Mins in the octagon is more valuable experience than a whole training camp. Can't argue with the truth
I love Al. He is very honest and real. Khabib likes him so much and always respect him for that quality

My gosh ….how can people not see that khabib was toying with Al iaquinta in this fight 😄😄…he did a spinning back kick for crying out loud 😂😂…when has he ever done a spinning back kick in a fight😂 !! He was sweeping iaquinta at will…..just look at especially round 5 ..minute 2.25…he sweeps him like child's play ….and keeps him on the flloor till the end
Iaquinta could have beat Khabib.
And Tibau maybe did but on the other hand Tibau was not aggressive.
The porier grip was not full, he didn't put both legs around.
Khabib’s corner literally said “that’s it you gave him chance now back to father’s plan”. This is when he chose to stand with him.

Ofc it was not a logical thing to say, it's just 25 min distance which Khabib did let reach because testing his boxing and having fun, also what noone so far haven't said is that it was hard for Khabib as well, why do they talk about a short notice only making favor for Nurmagomedov, I wonder. Khabib is a technical af fighter -> when he didn't research his opponent and make a camp against him, he's in a strong disadvantage. As Al said himself, it's Nurmagomedovs' technique, he's strong and all, but it's a technique he uses to really dominate. Sure, his most technique is just a versatile stuff like the sense of own and opponents balance together + trapping limbs instinct, but still. If he doesn't know the opponent that well, ofc he cannot make him lose all space. To steal space, need to know what the fighter is gonna do next, to do it before him.
