🗣️THIS IS HOW I LIKE MINE 🥰 FLUFFYYY
So good !……. Could I give you another recipe for the same result but with a different ingredient and much love ?…… Yes ! ….. On Sunday in the morning, you wake up an hour and half before your Darling. You go in the kitchen and you make the pastry of your pancakes without to separate the eggs in two parts (I do not know the words in english for the yellow part and the white part of the egg). But at the end, you add a cap of rhum or another strong alcohol. Then, you leave your pastry on the counter with a little clothe on to protect from the dust and you go back to bed for an hour. You kiss your Darling much and you come back in the kitchen. While you were kissing, the alcohol witch is full of sugar has been eaten by the backing powder witch likes that much. It has made many very little bubbles in your pastry too. When you put your pancakes in the fry pan with a little butter before, your pancakes become fluffy, fluffy so much thanks to many little bubbles and many huge kisses…. From a french woman who loves to cook pancakes every Sunday for her Canadian Darling.
The only thing that needs to be on a good pancake is tons of butter.
Horrible!!

Who else had to sit through that weird ad that was just a guy filming a machine cutting the heads off of strawberries for 2 minutes?
May actually try to make these this week, thanks Chef!
Holy bartoli these look amazing!
Does anyone else play his videos while cooking? Even if I'm not cooking the same thing I play them for the mood of creating good food. It works!
I need the amounts for a family of 6 lol
Beautiful. Brilliant.
and by sifting, I mean dump it all in LOL
Okay shiny food just makes me think of Souped Up Recipes channel, she loves shiny and crunchy food…wonder if she can make these in the wok…
i haven't even seen the video and i already know i want 'em in my belly.
This recipe is in my old Mennonite cookbook
Love these
Look great. I’m gonna do this pancake, minus the sugar since we’re gonna eat them with syrup. I’ll add nutmeg, or cinnamon
His voice is annoying
Get them out of the HEAT ready to EAT! Chef John is a rapper
There are 3 main reasons to watch Chef John's videos and subscribe…
1) Beyond yummy food! Enough said.
2) The way he speaks with short pauses.
3) Funny phrases about customization.
Great technique for gluten free pancakes
I sighed when he put the fork to those pancakes.
Nope, too much work for me.
Every time I've tried to make the Japanese version this is what I end up with. I guess I'm bad at folding it still tastes fluffy and fun. I heard buttermilk can make them rise more have u tried that?
Chef John. I am a big fan and have been watching your youtube for several years. I’m curious what made you begin narrating with this inflection/speech pattern?
Golden black lol
Hmph. I always just stick my plates in the oven at the lowest temp (175F). Let me go check John's blog to see how the pros do it…
"put the plates in the oven at the lowest temp"…
Heheh. Nice. Feelin' pretty cool ATM.
EPIC
Did this recently and wow, it was really very soft. I like this pancake so much even though it takes a bit more time and effort re: whipping the egg whites. 👍👌
A good Japanese souffle pancake shouldn't taste like foam. They're like what you said, just like a pancake but super light and fluffy. Except unlike in this video, they're cooked to an even color and stacked taller for thicker mouthful.
😋😋😋😋😋
When you get that brown ring on pancakes that is good pancakes!! Add sourcream on top and strawberry jam will enjoy it!!!)
