Americans Concerned Over Covid, Bills, Inflation, New Polling Shows

this is getting out of hand NO MANDATES

  • Deborah Freedman on December 9, 2021

Time to take a step back, and address inflation, not pass a bill that, according to the CBO score and any legitimate economist, is going to make inflation worse. Why is the prime lending rate still around zero? Businesses don't need easy money now, they need employees. The people who've quit working, aren't going to start because they can take out easy loans. Raising the prime rate has always lessened inflation, but it takes time, so do it now. That way, inflation cannot be used against Democrats come November next year. And, address the real problems of the nation, including recent state election laws, that take away the voice of the people. Stop giving Republicans talking points, to win with, by passing unpopular bills, in the House, that would only make a bad situation worse, for most people. You can message it until you're blue in the face, the BBB bill is unpopular because it will drive inflation, and only helps a select few. At least, wait until after the midterms, to commit political suicide. Message addressing inflation, securing everyone's right to vote, and the genuine infrastructure bill, that already passed.

  • Alex De on December 9, 2021

It is so funny that in the USA talking about inflation when the job market is booming. Also inflation is a problem every where in the world

  • John Smith on December 9, 2021

The Gateway pundit reveals that the covid misinformation is false. The FDA has lied about the reliability of Monoclonal antibodies for covid.
The misinformation has started with the FDA. The FDA is the source of covid misinformation.

  • Mort Snerd on December 9, 2021

Don't believe polls anymore than I would believe a Republican

  • Larry Sernyk on December 9, 2021

Biggest worry for Americans is a corrupt republican political party which MUST BE VOTED OUT in 2022 and 2024.

  • Tomas Pita on December 9, 2021

It's a matter of perception, we tend to think of ourselves as consumers rather than workers. We see milk up eleven-cents and clutch our pearls while we ignore we are making 15% more than 2 years ago. All the whining about 'hyper-inflation' while more than 40,000,000 families had an average of $400 a month extra shoved in their pockets just like trump shoved over a trillion into the 1%-ers pockets shows a complete disconnect from reality. Most of us have greater buying power today than we did at any time in the last 5 years. Corporate media blows it up for clicks and as sellouts to the likes of Manchin and the people who own our personal debts of about $15 trillion in mortgages, car loans, etc. – because inflation peels value off their slice of OUR PIE not the other way around.
It's sad that Americans are so ignorant

  • maestoso47 on December 9, 2021

  • Jeff Barron on December 9, 2021

A poll is worth about the same as wondering if that gum on the ground still might have flavor

  • R Nava on December 9, 2021

Dems need to do more about security across the country including the border. Why can't they put out a Border Security bill that calls for more security?

  • Gregory Knobloch on December 9, 2021

Hey JOe. its 1.75 tr over 10 years. Please stop the Republican oversimplification and misinformation thanks. Only an ignorant person would believe that the bill will cause inflation.

  • Winston Smith on December 9, 2021

The Various States That Are Holding On To The Massive Infusion Of Cash Are Causing A Lot Of Problems. Maryland State I Read Is Still Holding Unemployment And Rental Help Checks.
What Is Now Happening In Cities Like Chicago And LA Is Flash Robberies. These Guys Are Used To Those Checks. Now That States Cut Them Off And Stop Without Ensuring That They Return To Work, This Is The Downside; Especially When They See The Excesses Of The Rich People,

Biggest concern? The massive false flag operation and psychological warfare operation happening called moronavirus.

  • Steve Lowale on December 9, 2021

Can they please let Biden know please. Bring down gas prices, there to darn high. We heard Biden say he is working on it, so where are the results.

  • John Zelis on December 9, 2021

Why not try something different? Select Republican Senators, in public view, wide open, woo and influence him or her to support the next "Build Back Better" legislation that Manchin and Sinema refuse to compromise. Make an offer that would be foolish to refuse. Making Manchin and Sinema irrelevant. Especially seek members of the Senate that are on, *the fence*, a borderline Republican gerrymander that can feel safe in their job with Democratic support. Yes, it is a gamble. However, it is embracing Democracy to help move forward while avoiding Trump Maga bitterness, hate filled rhetoric and escalation of possible physical harm. Personally, I’ll vote for a Republican and/or a Democrat to get the job done. My opinion. [JZ].

  • Andy Coslet on December 9, 2021

Where does this guy get his information. Infrastructure is 1.2 trillion, not trillions.

  • stackchn on December 9, 2021

The only ones most concerned with covid are germaphobe hypochondriacs and those around Biden's age who are already on borrowed time. The media and big Pharma are the ones that keep trying to scare and control the mass population.

  • Denby Maxwell on December 9, 2021

COVID isn't a huge issue because Biden is actully doing something about it, people need to vote so Manchin and Sinema are no longer holding the government up from getting things done, the GOP will just be the same old do nothing and the no policy6 party and giving the rich tax cuts

  • S B on December 9, 2021

If I hear one more time about the cost of build back better. It’s not 1.75 trillion going to the debt!!! That’s spread out over 10 years and going to bring new jobs and make the rich pay their fair share so that it won’t contribute to the deficit! No one mentioned about the military yearly budget adding to the deficit, which was $768 billion in one year! So times that by 10 and see what that adds to the deficit.

  • Illu Vatar on December 9, 2021

So what they're saying is Russia didn't even make the list?? Rachel's gotta up her game!

  • legend Canibal on December 9, 2021

Joe ….why don't you add to your report….the following.

Manchin is not voting for the BBackB bill…..because he is protecting the millionaires including humble republican " Joe "
    Manchin is red coat…republican.!

And the revenue collected from millionaires under the provision in the bill will pay for the Bback better bill.

So….Manchin is using the national debt excuse… which will stay the same since the BBB bill will be paid raising the taxes from 22% to 27% in those making over 400,000.

Joe be a humble republican but do not hide the facts….and report what is in the BBB bill in addition, to how it will be paid.

The provision to raise taxes on millionaires also dissolve all the loopholes that millionaires use to get away.
    with paying zero taxes.

    Last…the miserable rat ex-president administrator
won in 2016 because media outlets like your gave the miserable rat free press.

So, why don't you Joe stop giving the rat ex administrator, free press and give American people good news .

Hearing the miserable rat ex-administrator….on your show makes Americans puke every morning.

  • legend Canibal on December 9, 2021

The soonest the ex administrator is put away for life the sooner life go back to normal .

I used to have problems with rats and as soon as the exterminator got rid of them the problem was gone.

The same with rat ex administrator…..the sooner
    The better.

  • Sherry Johnson on December 9, 2021

  • Pirate91 on December 9, 2021

Inflation….the insidious Tax you didn't vote for….nor can you vote against. The taxation without representation that has been levied on ALL Americans by the Federal Reserve Bank that has printed Trillions of Dollars in support of a Keynesian THEORY that has been bastardized by an institutionalized organization that controls the monetary system of not only a Nation….but the world's reserve currency. And to think…the leaders of this organization have be "caught" trading the stocks of the very banks they support. The "Unintended Consequences" will be written in the history books of the civilizations that rise from the ashes.

nobody is putting 1.75trln into economy tomorrow, stop lying! iy is over few years investment to n=make this country much more competitive! and yes, inflation is transitory in a bigger scale of economic sense and is majorly driven by pandemic. and it is fact the those businesses that invest in times of crisis – overcome it and become prosperous after crisis versus those that cut, underpay and not invest! enough of lies and pedalling of manchin rich hoodie donors advocate.
