SpaceX is targeting Monday, July 20 for Falcon 9’s launch of the ANASIS-II mission, which will lift off from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. The primary launch window opens at 5:00 p.m. EDT, or 21:00 UTC, and closes at 8:55 p.m. EDT, or 00:55 UTC on July 21. A backup launch opportunity is available on Tuesday, July 21 that opens at 5:00 p.m. EDT, or 21:00 UTC, and closes at 8:55 p.m. EDT, or 00:55 UTC on July 22.

Falcon 9’s first stage previously launched Crew Dragon to the International Space Station with NASA astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley on board. Following stage separation, SpaceX will land Falcon 9’s first stage on the “Just Read the Instructions” droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. The ANASIS-II spacecraft will deploy about 32 minutes after liftoff.

i can't understand why, but even tough i knew that the rocket was gonna land by itself i was still surprised like the first time

  • Mads4it on July 30, 2020

I love watching the landings, it's always emotional and don't tell anyone, but sometimes I cry a little.
Elon is near to Nikola in my heart and mind, both incredible men with foresight and vision.
Totally effing amazing stuff and I am chuffed to bits to be around to see this.

One man with some money and a vision, taking over space in ways no other agencies or countries can manage! The dedication to make not only successful rockets, but re-useable ones it beyond fantastic!

  • Ray Nix on August 2, 2020

You know we are all amazed at this…………but for the American taxpayer to give NASA 22billion dollars a year is absolutely insane, when we are bankrupt, everything they snd learn with technology companies still turn around and charge we the taxapyer top dollar when they learned it at the expense of taxpayer. …………..Imagine how many people could be helped with drug addictions and mental issues and medical expenses with cancer etc with 22 billion dollars and President Trump is asking congress for 25 billion. …………….A bunch of greedy NASA employess thinking selfishly and waisting a lot of tax dollars for what we get from it versus what cound be done with that borrowed money we the taxpayer have to pay and the interest on that 22 billion is huge. And Space X leader Elon Musk is getting more billions from us, this is exactly how the rich get richer and the poor poorer.

Was trying to find SpaceX contact information.I was unable to succeed in my task so I am contacting you here. I wanted to give you a heads-up that a probable scam is happening on Facebook using your company and logo imagery. The company doing this is called whitehat. They are advertising space technology education for childrenbut have zero information and are simply fishing for private information from citizens. After a short search online I found at the company was only found in two years ago and is based in Mumbai. fairly certain this is an internet scam. there's also a little surprised to find that SpaceX has a page on almost every social media outlet except Facebook. Is there a reason for this? not bashing you for not having a Facebook just curious as to why you wouldn't.

The theory: "There are contagious diseases" is False!

    Thus says the Lord God:

“In those days people will no longer say,
‘The parents have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.
Instead, everyone will die for their own sin; whoever eats sour grapes—their own teeth will be set on edge.
    Jeremiah 31: 29-30

"Therefore this is what the Lord says: ‘I will bring on them a disaster they cannot escape. Although they cry out to me, I will not listen to them".
    Jeremiah 11:11

Dude man, its just so damn impressive you can send something 50+ Miles up into the air and land it inside a circle no bigger then 80 feet in diameter using basically nothing but flaps to control the direction of travel as it falls.
