    Ok so I saw you didn't peel the apples. I tried it. I made a mess in a tiny space. I used an immersion blender and a regular blender and the skin was still present. I passed it thru a strainer and it took forever. I still have bits of skin. It's a most unpleasant texture. Next batch I made I peeled the apples and the texture was much better.

    the peels have lots of pectin in them, the stuff you need for jelly to set well. this is likely a big reason why they help the texture.

    Thank you so much I cooked the butter for 10 hours in slow cooker in low but in the morning I cooked for extra 40 minutes adding but, coconut brown sugar and apple cider for your recommendations salt and came up fantastic, the recipe I tried didn't mention the vinegar or salt and I didn't didn't see what was so great about it until I spiced up with your recipe Ü
