I actually cook something similar… What would really give it a good pop is some crumbled pepper flavored boursin cheese… mm hmmm good.

hmmmmmm i followed this recipe fairly closely but i have to admit i found it flavourless, even with good asparagus. i'd imagine it would be nicer as a quiche, perhaps with some cheese in the mixture. the batter mixture is just bland, imo. sorry! i like some of your other recipes very much.
I think I'm going to stick with frittata and quiche for this sort of asparagus dish, respectively.
im thinking of trying this with broccoli instead of asparagus with a little cheese sauce to pour on top. a little different take on broccoli and cheese
wrong combination!followed directions to the tee!made me feel like throwing up.its like eating brownie with twigs.loved the batter. wished i could separate the asparagus from the batter-batter is fantastic with the right amount of salt and sugar.looks good but would have tasted better with another type of veggie.will try ur other recipes.Thanks for the batter recipe.That was great!

I made this before and it was great! I am trying this today with white asparagus, as its in season here in Germany right now. I hope it works out just as fine 🙂
