Baked Cowboy Dip – Easy and Highly Addictive Party Dip – Food Wishes ctm magazine

This amazing dip’s name used to include another word that refers to an addictive controlled substance, and while we don’t use that word anymore, it certainly fit. Once you start dipping, you can’t stop. So, don’t stop. It’s a party, Or, at least I hope it’s a party, and not you skipping work, sitting alone in a seedy hotel room, eating an entire bowl all by yourself. Either way, I really hope you give this a try soon. Enjoy!

  • EB A on February 1, 2022

Sorry Chef John. I prefer my cowboys fried. It's a texture thing.

  • Lena Lyles on February 1, 2022

Make this a lot for our resort get together, Texans like it spicy, but our winter people not so much! I compromise by using a milder sausage and red jalapeños that we smoke ourselves.

  • Jenn Righter on February 1, 2022

"I wish I knew how to quit you", lol.

  • april8tost on February 1, 2022

  • Johnathan Cooper on February 1, 2022

  • Tom R on February 1, 2022

    doesnt contain any real cowbow…..

  • Seán O'Nilbud on February 1, 2022

That recipe again. Everything in your kitchen in a bowl, cover in cheese, and put in the oven.

  • P. Allen on February 1, 2022

I have absolutely no intention of making this, but like all of Chef John's videos, it sure was fun to watch.

  • Wayne Gordon on February 1, 2022

You are, after all, the Dak of your Cowboy crack…

  • Leslye Schoenhuth on February 1, 2022

    * There is a masher that has 5 blades & is made of silicone & won't harm your pan & divides quickly while cooking.

  • Sammy Hallam on February 1, 2022

It's a pity you cannot refer to a cowboy's crack during a cooking show. Oh what times we live in.

  • Jacob Herwick on February 1, 2022

Might need to make this for the Super Bowl! Looks great!

  • Scott Rousseau on February 1, 2022

I will only make this with fresh cowboy… LOL

Every time that chip dipped into that dip, my envy grew… I am starting to hate/love/hate/love Chef John.

  • N. Holbrook on February 1, 2022

I would just add this comment, that I would recommend using yellow cheddar cheese for this dish. The flavor will be the same, but the white cheese ends up making a funky, unappetizing pink dip the color of raw chicken. Yellow cheese makes the whole thing look more like a queso dip which people invariably can't wait to eat.

"Spend the extra dollar on the good sweet stuff."
That's how my girlfriend convinces me to buy her better stuff….

  • Edward Vermillion on February 1, 2022

  • Suzanne Baruch on February 1, 2022
