11:44 In the book, "Pattons Best" Nat Frankel describes the origin of the fear the Germans had of the 4th Armored Div. Apparently a tank crew decided to get Mohawk hairs cut as a joke. Soon other tank crews got Mohawks until a great many 4th armored tank crews were sporting Mohawks. The Germans who saw the Americans with Mohawks thought that it meant that these tank crews were condemned men who had nothing to lose. This belief spread like wildfire among the Germans.
Patton did say We Should Move Eastward , Hmmmm ,Hmmm mmm ,the real enemies ??????
THis Documertries are literrally saving my life, something to do and take my mind of my loneliness being a man in this WOKE cancel everyone with a johnson culture is so toxic. Nothing better than a nice history hour to take my mind of the world.
Brigadier General of the 14th Armored Regiment Albin Irzyk explains that he and the rest of the tank company (A,B,C,) taking their safety spot, but he and his crew got lucky because the German Tank hit their protruding section of the turret and survived in 22:58. He passed away 4 years ago in September 10th, 2018. 😎.
I been waiting for this
First time watching this series. So far, I’ve enjoy this episode of this series 😌🙂😦
I've enjoyed watching this series again on the whole. But I'll be glad when we can get back to enjoying the Dogfights episodes. I think we have one episode left of Patton 360 to see before that happened. Great job History Channel. You don't make'em like this anymore.
I dislike the animations
These days you see professional athletes being carried off of the field for minor injuries, and here's an example of REAL HEROES still injured going out to battle the enemy. Even in the modern battlefield there's an example of a soldier being wounded in the neck and fighting another hour and a half before getting medical aid. ATHLETES AND CELEBRITIES ARE NOT HEROES!
McMaster is a disgrace to the uniform.
I can't watch this – the CGI removes all credibility – whose stupid idea was that?
My bulge is my waist line
Excellent stoked job fellows!!!🥶🥶🥶🥶🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💚🥇

General Patton his army is one of the best armies that we ever had I don’t even think they lost a battle frfr
I love peeing on the barrel of my gun and getting credited for American Ingenuity 50 years later
My grandfather-in-law Vaughn Henry Patrick. Was in that battle. He was wounded but was never captured. God rest his soul he was my mentor
Can't wait for the episode of the Russians taking Berlin
Every minute of everyday I pray for the fallen… especially when I think I have done enough…those fellow Americans..those brave men ..sub zero temperature.. fighting…to keep the World free…I just in gratitude..I humble myself…and push on…see this nation …must never forget…the sacrifice of this great generation…we owe it to them to understand we must all be United to fight together a threat that may cost us our freedoms…it is being said these days America is weak ..we have no pride just division in socialist agenda..made to tell our young ..this nation is terrible and you should be ashamed…I see it broadcast on the news …and I see politicians..both parties take money and move forward with ill.. gotten gains…we need leaders not afraid of big tech..big pharma…we people to represent people..That work and push through a day ..to know this Nation is not weak…I look at these documentaries..I know ..we failed them…and this was of our own doing …we did not teach our kids .. anything…God have mercy on the United States of America…peace.
Old blood and guts? My favorite!
9:09 Ike "George I just got word that Bradley's men are surrounded I need you in Bastogne now." Patton "I will be there in two days." Ike "George that is impossible." Patton "I will get it done Ike just watch!" And he does Patton pulls his units out of France and heads north to Luxemburg and Belgium. Watch Out Hitler Here Comes Patton!
I'm tired with this series
23:13 That one bounced
Is it next week yet!? What a dam good series! THC needs more of this & less of Pawn Stars type shows!
Ahhh the good old days when History channel was the History cannel and not the "how to make lousy knives" channel or the "are ET's and UFO's real?" when it should be a "They are here, now what".
No member of the 101st ever said they need rescue. Know your history History
I urge every person or organization that has access to these amazing veterans to listen and record the stories and unbelievable lives they led before the history itself is list to history…great documentary and mad respect for the respect shown to these amazing vets
What were the temperatures?
1) The Battle of the Bulge was only possible for the Germans because fuel was taken from Patton and squandered on Montgomery in the preceding months
2) Hitler's Battle of the Bulge plan would have worked on Monty and most other Allied generals and the 101st would have had to eventually surrender en masse
