The problem is the legislation they oppose is overwhelmingly wanted by the American public, but most of our lawmakers (Dems & Repubs) only listen to their corporate masters who bribe them to oppose every single bill that costs corporations money like raising the minimum wage or letting Medicare negotiate drug prices. If you wonder why "drug price negotiation" didn't pass it's because Big Pharma put millions into lawmakers pockets and Big Pharma lobbyist telling them to vote NO or else. If you wonder why the infrastructure bill passed it's because it put billions into the pockets of corporations. It's an EXTREMELY SIMPLE FORMULA. Most of our lawmakers are corrupt.
Wrote in Bernie in both 2016 and 2020. I just can't vote for any candidate that doesn't overwhelmingly advocate for comprehensive government healthcare funded by taxation. I don't care how much Biden voters think Trump is bad. I don't care how bad Trump voters think Biden is bad. I'm not those voters. You can have my vote or not. It all depends on that candidates stance on this key issue. Clinton was advocating against it. So I liked seeing her lose. Trump is against it. Was happy to see him lose. Biden is against it. Won't be voting for him in 2024. I don't care what issues to other people are important. This issue is important to me and my vote requires support on this issue.
Bernie Sanders has too much faith in the Republican party. I include Sinema and Manchin with them. I don't believe that they have the votes. But getting the votes on record might be a way to campaign against the Republicans by having them on record voting against the interests and benefit of the American people. Remember right now you're either an American or a Republican. You either believe in this country and love it or you believe in Jewish space lasers and JFK JR coming back from the dead and love Trump. It's really us and them any they are enemies of the country.
