Wow. If you think this woman is a bitch you have never seen an actual bitch in your life. She's polite, she's well mannered, and she's doing exactly what she is supposed to, which is stress test the restaurant service. Which they handled excellently by the way. (In comparison the comments about throwing food at your customers or yelling at her would have been a pathetic failure as far as service goes). Thanks to her, the resturant got to know that 1) Their service is excellent, 2) Their food is delicious, 3) Their dishes are needlessly over complicated and gimmicky. Excellent feedback all round.

People here disliking definitely do not get the point of a secret diner. These guys will employ tactics that normally annoy good restaurants and are disruptive to the flow of service or adds to the overall workload. That is to see how the reception, the waiters and the kitchen responds. Gordon has this done for a reason.

After the first "Can I change my order" they should've known all they needed to know.

Don't understand the hate. She's a demanding customer, not disrespectful by any means. Almost no one here has worked in gastronomy before, that's obvious.
My only criticism is that if gordon sent the same person to both restaurants it would have been more consistent. This woman is so much more of a hassle and so much meaner than the guy he sent to the other restaurant who acted like a normal customer.
