President Biden announced that he is asking Congress to approve an addition $33 billion in supplemental aid for Ukraine. The package would include at least $20 billion in military and security aid as well as funding for economic and humanitarian assistance.

We are Inside the Soviet Union:
Ukraine was the 2nd largest and 2nd most powerful state in the Soviet Union, that's how far NATO has expanded East and people are saying Russia are the aggressors, Putin is the threat. There is Compelling Evidence that proves that NATO promised Gorbachev that NATO would not expand East but NATO engineered the breakup of the Warsaw Pact and now most of those countries are members of NATO, Russia wanted to be part of NATO but was not allowed to. NATO facilitated the breakup of the Soviet Union and then started turning former Soviet republics against Russia.
Everybodu knows that the current Ukranain president, a former comedian, is a puppet installed by America after we overthrew the elected pro Russian president which caused the ethnic Russians in Donbass and Crimea to secede which started a war.
We know all these undisputed facts and yet somehow we say Russia are the aggressors. We Are Fighting Russia inside the former Soviet Union right now after years of planting and nurturing anti Russian dissent in Ukraine and somehow it's Russia's fault.
Why are we doing all this? The very reason Russia has always been attacked, we want Russian resources, the oil, the gas, the wheat, the steel, the agricultural land. We want to weaken Russia, get rid of all the so called Oligarchs who saved Russia from being "colonized" by the west and their resources stolen on the cheap when sanctions made the Soviet Union collapse.
I just saw a Ukrainian couple being interviewed who's house was bombed by Russia and they blamed America for causing the war and said Putin had no choice. We are sending weapons inside the soviet union, we are fighting Russia inside the Soviet Union and we say it's Putin’s fault?
Last I heard is that a superpower nuclear war would assure mutual destruction and end the world as we know it and probably wipe out poor nations from the face of the earth especially those who live in tropical areas and will have no idea how to cope with a nuclear winter.

It's taxpayers money for e should have a vote on this Joe we don't trust your judgement with money. You are giving it away or is a loan?
If Biden administration wants to give this money to a foreign government we should reduce the budget for Americans by that like them out. We can cancel or reduce the amount of money we are spending on social services, we should eliminate the money we are spending to promote electric vehicles, we should end all environmental spending. We should reduce the American budget by a corresponding amount that we are going to give to these foreign governments.
I totally support Ukraine and have no problem helping them but could you find a little bit of that money for those of us who live in poverty and could use the extra SNAP benefits. God Bless America

$33 billion is the bargain of the century. Consider the alternative, Ukraine loses the war and Russia moves into one of the Baltic states (which by the way are all members of NATO)? Then, that is WW III guaranteed. At that point, you could really forget about the homeless and starving population as the priority would be to win the war. Seriously, why else do you think all the NATO countries are really ramping up sending weapons to Ukraine now apart from trying to save the Ukrainian people? UK, Poland, Turkey, Germany, France, Canada, you name it. And from non-NATO countries too like Australia. Because they know Putin is not going to stop at Ukraine and the previous passive/soft strategy wasn't getting anywhere. Putin is a power-crazed dictator and he doesn't give a toss about your economic sanctions from the West. The only way to stop Putin is to stop him physically by defeating his military. This isn't warmongering, nobody wants war just like nobody wanted WW II. You had Hitler then and now you have Putin. You don't have a choice. This is why you have to do absolutely everything you can now just short of fighting the war yourselves, hopefully Ukraine will be able to drive Russia out and win the war whereby Russia would have to think twice before trying something like that again.
