These technologies aren't going away anytime soon, so we might as well reap the benefits of them

  • Wolf. on December 11, 2021

Somebody's gonna use this for Increasing penis size and become a multi-billionaire 😂😂

  • Crisper is just another hype, why? COVID is why, the vaccine grade was is still rubbish demonstrating the science to be hot air.

let´s look at how anadiaplasis changes product design and production, spyros panopoulos, is it the new blockchain?

If you think we live in bad times…

  • stenka rasin on December 12, 2021

Still too much unexplored territory for me.

  • fcfdroid on December 12, 2021

Excellent content my guy I'm however concerned about Crispr. Being able to modify genes is like playing God and scientist might be able to decide what type of future "Capital punishment" you'd receive or if a Country decides how they'd biologically keep a race of people subjective to them because "they're inferior by nature". There's much good to come out of this but alot of bad too 😬

  • Gagan Deep on December 12, 2021

Dumb question!… Can CRISPR be used to treat COVID patients or prevent diseases…? As it is more focused on gene editing

And what happened to nano technology?

  • gladsheep on December 12, 2021

Great technology! So much potential for improving the human experience and relieving suffering. It’s too bad we can’t trust our global “leaders” because they are utterly corrupt. I think the “technology of the heart”, human connection, trust, and harmony, basically unity consciousness that still respects the individual, needs to catch up to physical technology. (Bit of a reference to a TED talk on the technology of the heart).

  • Middle Ages on December 13, 2021

If it is genetic. What if it's not?And what if messing up with the genome creates other problems?

  • S on December 13, 2021

    I have a pigs heart

  • tonytor53 on December 14, 2021

    I work with it!

  • Fabian La Maestra on December 15, 2021

it's not all sunshine and rainbows, these types of Gene editing solutions are usually thousands per injection! You can get your vision back so you can turn into a wage slave at an Amazon warehouse paying your financial bondage for the rest of your life. /Sarcasm

  • Herb Wiseman on December 15, 2021

It depends on the values we have. Values that “value” life are essential.

  • Orlev Novel on December 15, 2021

you're absolutely right. with great power comes great responsibility.

  • DrumtotheBass Woop on December 15, 2021

Humans have the potential to be gods either good or bad, the ability to fix anything is within our grasps, unfortunately held back by idiots with superstitious minds or greed.

  • Nic Berry on December 15, 2021

This is amazing. Hopefully this can be applied to other illnesses! 😀

  • MagicalWingLT on December 15, 2021

My husband has Stargarts dease and is legally blind. He's been going to Philly every month to get two shots in his eye for a experiment program to help with the vision. Been doing this since May… And they are paying him. Hopefully it will work soon

  • Marcovitch NZ Kikus on December 16, 2021

reall awesome ! but the title is… almost a lie, its not "general" blindness, but specific degeneretive disease which affect the dna, but for 70% of blind people where its the nerves which are damage, it doesnt do shit.. that's why the title is more appealing than true .. but still an awesome breakthrough!

  • TheLaw [GamePlay with Commentary] on December 16, 2021

Does this mean that Crisper can be used to Reverse poor vision due to age?

  • TheLaw [GamePlay with Commentary] on December 16, 2021

    Fortune favors the bold

  • mariolis1000 on December 16, 2021

I hope this technology isnt regulated to death and dies because of fear-based red tape

i also want this technology to be open to individuals , with detail plans and instructions on how to do it uploaded online , not limited by goverment bans

The sky is the limit when EVERYONE and not a small group of people lead by a comitee , have access to a specific technology

  • M W on December 16, 2021

Can CRISPR get rid of my psoraisis since its a dna issue? Ill volunteer, ive had it for 30 years and its time it goes.

  • こめっこKomekko on December 16, 2021

Waiting for the genetically modified CAT ear girls

  • cobaltblue1975 on December 16, 2021

It's not the tech that's bad. It's how it's used. When we learned how to split the atom, we COULD have ushered in a new era of prosperity with abundant energy for all. The trouble is, we keep inventing tech faster than we can grow up enough to use it wisely.

  • Laura Powers on December 17, 2021

Why didnt they try to correct the brain damage

  • Saunter Sway on December 17, 2021

This makes me think of forced mandates. What they can do to you with those.

  • manofreedom on December 18, 2021

As an MD I have patients with autoimmune disease and cancers that we diagnose routinely but even though the ability to diagnose these genetic problems has come a long way the treatments are still far behind. I hope this technology helps… CRISPR looks promising on so many levels.

  • Toren on December 18, 2021

It can't "cure" or "reverse" congenital total blindness. Nothing can do that. You should point that out.
You should look at the comments, there are people believing in this. That's a terrible form of misinformation about medical treatment.
I do not believe you did that on purpose, so please be more careful with videos about medical treatments.

Greetings from the University Hospital of Frankfurt a. M. Germany

  • Kewlzter TC on December 19, 2021

    Where can I get it?
Once people get to a certain age, risk isn't such a big concern.

  • Achchutha Rengan on December 19, 2021

Waiting to see all people with full natural hair on their head.. Let's see CRISPR

  • danijel124 on December 19, 2021

It sounds great and all but we all know that the common guy wont be able to get this treatment…

  • Barrie Wright on December 19, 2021

Like every thing new, always move with caution.

  • Martin Lõõbas on December 20, 2021

Wouldn't wonder if that technology was used by our ancestors to create humans
