6:14 imagine at that moment gordon just accidentally dumps all of the catfish onto the ground then looks up at the camera with a distant stare and the video just fades to black

If you don't just use the F word so much, it would be more pleasant to watch all your shows Mr. Gordon. I like everything in you except that. Hoping you will change one day. 😁

  • Benjamin 379 on November 23, 2021

I've always wanted to try catfish

  • Hymedude on November 26, 2021

Lol that's why it's called fishing not catching….lol

  • buffyanne20 on November 27, 2021

It's so worth it though. A fresh catfish fry would be my last meal on death row.

  • Bryan Lahog on November 27, 2021

Anybody else notice the snapping turtle is a soft shell turtle?

"Surrounded by bush-land, the lake is filled with black snakes and snapping turtles"

I have to stop watching these. It's making me hungry lol.

  • Jok3rs-P8 on December 22, 2021

As an Oklahoman, can attest: Fried Catfish is both a staple and delicacy.
Also, listening to a conversation between two polar opposite accents is quite the experience.

Gordon: "I can't see fuck all"

Redneck of the year: "You ain't gunna see!"

2:02 part had me laughing pretty hard idk why 😂

  • James Alexander on December 28, 2021

Gordon Ramsay, with balls of solid British Steel, demonstrates more American grit than many modern Americans.

  • V Ling on December 29, 2021

Wild catfish are actually disgusting lmao. I know; back home they catch catfish by hand regularly. The fact that Gordon and other top chefs tend to want fish fresh as possible make it likely that they use parasite-infested poor suckers for their recipes, unless they're closely inspected beforehand.

  • Itachi on December 29, 2021

I would think Gordon would grab a rod and try to catch one that way. That’s how I like to do it

  • Teresa Higgs on December 29, 2021

I love to see Gordon Ramsey going to different locations and trying regional specialities…catfish, king crab, wild pig and more! He’s such a “people” person, gets along wirh everyone, isn’t afraid to fail, and just keeps trying .

Whenever fishing I always recommend bleeding out your fish if you're planning on eating it

  • Keith Bentley on January 6, 2022

He's got the eating stuff out of lettuce leaves from Thailand/Laos.

  • Grand Old Man on January 6, 2022

Gordon learning some new tricks from some good ol boy humble lads, who are just pleasant. And going in with em fully to noodle like that. Sets Gordon above all others.

Wonder if he will use the tail draining in the future.

  • Susan Ibarra on January 7, 2022

  • CatsandLemonades on January 12, 2022

So sad to see that they HV to cut the tail, drain the blood 🙈

  • Lorenzo Victor on January 12, 2022

Haven't been tickling fish in forever. No matter how many I've caught, putting your hand in the hole for the first time again is one of the scariest things I've ever done. The reward is worth it but dang, that first time

  • Donald Michael Lumsden on January 12, 2022
