    You can just boil the Broccoli in the water. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of oil in the water and boil the broccoli for just around 30-60 second. It will come out with beautiful colour and ready to stri-fry. You can test it with boiling it without oil and sugar to see the different. I have been working in Chinese restaurant, so I know the method.

    Been a fan and sub for years now, but I have to say you have adopted a formula with your voice and very hollow attempts at humor that make your new videos borderline unwatchable. You should watch some of your vids from 2013-14 and see if you can break away from this robotic, cookie cutter mold you have made for yourself. I miss the old Chef John.

    I toss my fresh broccoli onto a pan with butter, add salt n pepper and char it that way. everybody loves it!
