Cherry Chocolate Loaf – Food Wishes ctm magazine
Since our banana bread gets such gets reviews, I decided to use it as the base recipe for this gorgeous cherry chocolate loaf, and while bananas and cherries are not very similar, it all worked out wonderfully, and I was beyond thrilled with the results. If you can’t find fresh cherries, this will work with frozen cherries, or even dried cherries if you soak them first. Enjoy!

this does Not taste good. no one shud waste their time making this,, dark chocolate bits give a bitter taste to the cake after baking, cherries get totally tasteless after cooking in the dough . Big Waste of delicious luscious cherries. 🙁😟👎👎👎

I wonder if you could use reconstituted dried cherries? I guess I have to find out.
Yum! 😋
OMG I’m trying this oh yummy 😋
I made this and it seams like I created some sort of reaction with the cherries and perhaps the banking soda or eggs where things turned grey. It tasted great but can you help me understand if this is normal?
I love those chocolate/cherry cordials at Christmas time too. But about 3 years ago I had a scary experience. I finally had a cordial with a cherry pit. I've been eating them for about 50 yrs and that's the only time I've encountered a cherry pit. 😋
…hmm…can you use brandied cherries, you think?
What's the cherry pitter you're using?!
imagine how delicious pistachios would be in this.

Damn! Chef John. You are quite an inspiration. I am just a retired technician. You inspire me to try new things. This smells great baking. Like you There is something wonderful about Cherry, Chocolate, & Walnuts. You are the Bomb Dude!
My husband absolutely LOVES cherry and chocolate combined. I will absolutely be trying this recipe.
This would go well with a fine Imperial Stoudt.
Didn't have any walnuts. Didn't have any vanilla but used almond extract. The wife said it was an orgasm for the taste buds. Thank you John.
I have vanilla bean whole milk yoghurt or sour cream to use as a substitute for the plain yoghurt that i forgot to buy. Which one do you think would be better?
