Hang on a sec. You don't fully cook the chicken yet you taste for seasoning?

I prefer boneless, skinless chicken breasts but my mom insists on boneless, skinless chicken thighs. I'm her caregiver so I do what she prefers. One day though…

But if the chicken is just kind of browned in the pan, and then you transfer it to a bowl, should you really be tasting the filling to know how much more to season it?

  • Elijah Abarbanel on November 1, 2020

11:14 was that an Eminem reference?

Perhaps the prettiest plate ever presented! Almost tempting enough to re-try the chango which has always seemed like a dry waddy brick.

  • Gerry Power on June 14, 2021

Hi Chef John – would it be possible to pre-make a batch of these and freeze them? I was thinking of taking them through pan frying, freezing them, and then finishing the chimichungas in a hot oven before serving. Is that the best approach?

  • Nancy Lotton on June 26, 2021

I love Chef John. He moves the process along. I am too impatient to watch some You Tube cooks. Please step up the pace a little, you cooks.

  • ely martin on July 10, 2021

  • ibkristykat on August 21, 2021

I learned through many cooks on Food Network not to add salt to mushrooms as they cook, but after they are brown.. it slows down their ability to brown.. ao they always started to wilt/brown the shrooms first then added the onion.. then added salt

  • Leslie Rhoda on August 29, 2021

    “You people…”. Lol.
