    If you need to boil the sauce to reduce and cook the pasta, couldn't he just cook the pasta on the sauce while it is being reduced? The pasta will absorb some of the water, thicken the sauce and when its done it can be taken out with tongs.

    Great pasta dishes but I've noticed your portion sizes are way too small. This presentation farce has got to stop, especially if you're paying a minimum of $20 for this dish. We just need a good plate of pasta,it's all about the pasta😊

    I made this and my husband and I both really loved it. It was such a good recipe. The hardest and trickiest part was trying to get the cooked chicken out of the pot. I used a 4 3/4 pound chicken and it was heavy? After a few splashes of marinara sauce that went everywhere, I managed to wrestle it out and into a bowl to begin the cooling process. Excellent and easy.

    Had to chuckle a bit. Chef John says never dump pasta in a bowl, then put the sauce on top. Because right before watching this video, I watched one from 2010 where he prepares garlic spaghetti ( spaghetti aglio olio ) and guess what he does in that video?

    Cooked anchovies remind me of roasted salted nuts. It's delicious it just deepens the flavor but nobody knows it's an anchovy.

    I never ever have jarred spaghetti sauce in my house. I usually make about 26 quarts for the year but if I haven't yet I simply throw together a quick delicious marinara sauce! 🙂
