Tm- there is no coincidence here. Shooter had been investigated at16 yo threatening a school shooting, over two years ago. Politicians and law enforcement allowed the guy to kill kids for an hour. Let's say we are going to put "good guys with guns" in our public buildings and spaces. The officer would need to wear the same tactical gear that the shooters have been using including an assault rifle to even come close to making it a fair fight. Don't forget that the "good guy with a gun" will most likely not have any prior warning. The GOP's position does not stand up at all as a viable solution. An officer on school grounds carrying a handgun does not stand much of a chance against a heavily armed suspect ready to kill anything that moves. Bidens famous Assault weapons ban was in effect during the Columbine School shooting how comes no one talks about this Biden Says it will stop future incidents like this but even when his ban was in effect it didn't stop Columbine from happening and there wasn't any discernable difference in crime that is why they lifted the ban and there is no such thing as Assault weapons AR's are not military style assault rifles it's a semi automatic rifle that has a trigger that has to be pulled each time you want it to fire another thing is guns are not made to kill they are made for defensive purposes most ppl me included did not buy a gun to hurt anyone we buy guns to have the best possible tool to defend ourselves and our families these News Agencies know that one of the worst school shootings happened during Bidens assault weapon Ban but not one have told this truth not one this is them pushing Bidens Agenda!

I was a junior in hs when columbine happened and that was the first big school shooting. I remember that it wasn't really talked about and there was no type of training or preparation for us back then. It's so sad to see how it has progressed. I can't imagine being in elementary school and having to have practice drills to prepare for this. These kids are so smart and well spoken about the incident. I really hope they are able to heal and not be afraid for the rest of their lives.

There's homeschool programs where if you work your kids could be apart of another group as a very small class. It might be worth doing that and working their way up to getting back in the school.
