They had the bite, chew, and a great taste of an awesome burger!

  • Jason Kirkpatrick on July 25, 2021

Can I make this without the methylcellulose? I get that it's a binder/emulsifier…it's also a laxative and that's the last thing I need in my diet rn. 🙏

  • BEA J Brow on July 25, 2021

The veggie burger looks great but knowing me I have to add vegan cheese lettuce and tomatoes vegan mayo onions and toast the bun. Lmao

  • Cammi Eklund on July 25, 2021

  • Keeshea on July 26, 2021

  • Lizette Reyes on July 26, 2021

Yum will try it – I put nutritional yeast in everything for the minerals …
Yummy with greens 🥬 like dandelion and kale for a cheesy taste or make one with cashews 🎉

  • dragonflydataV on July 27, 2021

These look fantastic, can't wait to get to the store tomorrow for cauliflower! May add some mushrooms too. I was wondering what you would suggest for an alternative for methyl cellulose? Zanthan or guar gum?

  • luv2travel2000 on July 27, 2021

😋🍔 Hmmm… This looks like an amazing recipe & each step you explained really well! The ingredients I have except the mushroom seasoning & methylcellulose. Hopefully they are easy to find. All the best.

  • HeartSong Germain on July 29, 2021

Leave out the questionable ingredients and add some nutrition. I will give it a try without them and let you know.. thank you for your effort

  • Flavour Junction on July 29, 2021

    Brilliant!

  • Mother Nature on August 1, 2021

It's good to soak nuts and seeds (for example walnut, hazelnut, hemp, sunflower, pumpkin) to remove inhibitors and antinutrition from them.

  • A M on August 2, 2021

Can you use other binders like panko, eggs, etc?

  • Joana Limão on August 2, 2021

Thank you for your work, love it!
One question, could I replace methylcelulose for psyllium powder?

  • S Patrk on August 2, 2021

again, its all amazing how you can make plants look, have texture and sometimes taste like meat.
but again, you can imitate everything except nutrition.
this is no different from fast food, just bunch of empty calories and sugars
real piece of meat would give you a lot more beneficial nutrients that this
even if its from a fast food

  • M. Reboot on August 4, 2021

less spices will be easier to identify tastes i guess… very good looking hamburgers, ill try!

How do you get these amazing ideas ? Are you a chemist or something ? Because what you do must require an insane amount of knowledge. Thanks for all the great recipes !

  • Bear 777 on August 28, 2021

Any ideas on a methylcellulose substitue or can you make that product from scratch easily enough

  • DerbunsTM on September 3, 2021

I'm still a kid and i'm afraid that when i become an adult i will mess up cooking my meat and get sick and no one will be there to help me
Soooo you ease my worries :]

  • madcommodore on September 4, 2021

cumin, white pepper powder, dry roasted onion, pinch of strong coffee and salt. That's kebab burger flavour right there…ground meat in the western world on most shop shelves tastes of nothing

  • John Sanchez on September 14, 2021

Am I able to make several, and freeze them?

  • Lucie Garrett on September 15, 2021

I love these. However, I'd like to upgrade the protein content and wonder about adding lentil flour or pea protein?

  • boxgirl139 on September 16, 2021

Yes, it's cauliflower, but is it sweet and sour? half an hour?

  • LottaTroublemaker on September 18, 2021

I made homemade mushroom seasoning. Altogether I used a whole shopping bag of mushrooms and included a glass of mushroom powder and a bag of dried shiitake mushrooms. The rest was about 50/50 aroma mushrooms and champignons. It is sooooooo darn concentrated and dark brown❗️☺️👍

  • PJ G on September 23, 2021

Can methyl cellulose be substituted by an egg?

  • ZippyXD P on September 27, 2021

    Now…could you grill these?

  • Nicole greene on September 27, 2021

Is it possible to make this with something other than the methyl cellulose? I’m trying to shy away from unnatural substances into my vegan foods…flax eggs and oats maybe? Can you try this and let me/us know pleeeeaaasseee!!!!!

  • Erika Jegl on November 10, 2021

Good idea I love cauliflower but this recipe requires too many ingredients I don’t use in my cooking so it is for me too much involved but other than that there look good!

  • Tom O'Leary on December 4, 2021

Chef : This is BASIC stuff …. put the walnuts in the bottom FIRST, and very quickly pulse – then the cauliflower pieces and blitz fully.
