Dem Hanks was awesome but my eyes welled up w tears when Milley recited the service of his parents; a WW2 combat zone nurse and a Marine dad that hit the beach in every critical battle of the Pacific. And the man who said service is for fools denigrates this hero and by implication his family.

I remember Senator Dole as a man of character who was very old school when it came to service to his Country… there was no on again, off again efforts from him. He was always 100% in every effort he gave no matter how great or small. Not like the weird players who walk the corridors in D.C. these days.
