An upper-level disturbance is expected to move across Southeast Texas Texas Friday resulting in the potential for widespread rain and thunderstorms.
On Friday scattered showers are forecast in the morning then, widespread rain and thunderstorms are possible by late morning through mid afternoon across Southeast Texas. One to two inches of rain are possible however, severe weather is not expected.
The tropics remain active with a lot of activity ion the Atlantic.
Hurricane Sam and Tropical Storm Victor continue to move through the Atlantic but are not a threat to Southeast Texas or the Gulf.
