It is one of the normal NATURAL phenomenon. For humans it is disaster. Hurricane, Tornado, Cyclone, Earthquake, Flood, Cloudburst, Volcanic explosion…….occur to remind us… we are not mightier than NATURE. Be humble and obliged….

Volcanos DO NOT damage the environment. It cleanses the environment from the human caused damage.
The people there are spared from any massive destruction and deaths. But their economy is just went down all the way the bottom of the sea. As a tourist island destination, they can forget about seeing those for at least a very long time. They gonna have big trouble getting drinking water too and catching fishes due to the ashes.
Is all gonna cost a lot of money and tons of aid from other nations.

One Volcano spews more โgreenhouseโ gases than man does for years/ or decades. The last time I checked there were ~ 20 to 25 volcanoes active world wide. If man stopped all โgreenhouseโ emissions the earth may still be accumulating these gasses. Does mans emissions cause change the environment? No real data backed evidence.
We need to ban all volcanos to prevent climate change.

I send good vibes and love to ๐น๐ด. However; you might think about bringing over earth material to build up "tsunami sanctuaries", pretty much football field sized mounds about 10 meters high. Would help your nation against some of the tsunamis that happen.

Who's dumb enough to believe this was an underwater volcano? I t was a russian 15 mega ton TORPEDO ….deliberate……in order to CAUSE a tsunami so it could be STUDIED as to how many mega tons does it take ti destroy X amount of coastline. People ….forget EVERYTHING you know….or THINK you know.
Where American aircraft carrier's, doesn't seen on spot for relief efforts by halicopter black hawk and twin blade halicopter's sea harrier's vertical take off facility, it's only for destruction in Asian continent or containment of Asia.
