Just awesome result! Congratulations on another successful launch!

How to you manage heat radiating off the engine fairing and warming the camera and electronics? I'd imagine once the atmosphere is left behind, there is limited cooling beyond blackbody radiation… so fairing would warm up considerably along with anything within line of sight of the very hot fairing.

I hope you keep making it look routine. great job SpaceX

    No landing??

  • Hamza Mahmood on March 17, 2017

Where is the velocity, distance and temp readings? Where is the footage from the camera in the first stage? This doesn't look like the Space X I know.

  • richardschumacher on March 17, 2017

Excellent. But they should find camera operators who can keep the vehicle in the frame. There are alternatives to meth-addicted Florida natives.

  • WeBeGood on March 17, 2017

Looks like you had a lot of residual oxidizer in your second stage tank after satellite deployment. Was the second stage targeted for reentry during geostationary transfer burn, or was a reentry burn at apogee performed, or did you leave the second stage in a 10,000 year orbit?

  • homerbloodysimpson on March 17, 2017

FYI, jump to 11:50 for the actual launch.

  • Danale Pape on March 17, 2017

so what happens to the falcon 9 is it just gone now? it just flew straight in to the ocean?

  • Gary Watson on March 17, 2017

This is a really long sentence that should wrap at the end of the line. 11:00 or so.

TERMINAL COUNT: this is a really long sentence that should wrap at the end of the line. this is a really long sentence that should wrap at the end of the line.

  • Dufftata on March 19, 2017

What is happening with the Falcon9? Are they not gonna land it? why?

Why don't they do another burn at the apoapsis to retain a circular orbit? They end the stream with an elliptical orbit

  • Verdigo on March 27, 2017

i dont understand… falcon 9 lifts off with 9 engines but stage one appears to only land with 1 engine? are the 8 other engines ditched with the fairing?

  • indoorherbivore on March 30, 2017

Ok SpaceX. nice job. Next, build a stable video relay that flies near the drone ship to forward the landing video up to the satellite.

Then explain if we are speeding around the sun at 107.000 km/h and the
sun circles the Milky Way at a speed of about 486,000 miles per hour.

-How come we don't see any changes in the constellations.

-Why if science tells us earth is an oblate spheroid, do we get pictures of earth looking like a perfect sphere>>???

-Why can we see very far in the distance and I personally know many mountain ranges visible from long distance?

-Why can we sometimes see the sun rays through the clouds as if the sun was very close?

-Why does gps use geodetic systems that refer to an ellipsoid surface as if the earth was shaped like an ellipsoid?

-Why do all rockets bend as if they are flying straight after a few minutes while it would probably be faster to go straight up(because they never go into space:))?
-Why is the ISS never in sync with the sky above you and shows more clouds than we can see?

-Why did they fake the moon landing when camera's were still shitty, because the data has so many inconsistencies?

-Why do planes never fly over the south pole and why almost nobody in history actually flew from north to south over the poles to the other side? -Why is the usa the country in the world that has been almost always in a constant state of war, and why have they infaded 70 countries since 1776? 50 OF THEM since 1945?

-Why do star trails show that stars orbit around a fixed point in the sky?

-It has never been proven that species can create other species, they can only adapt to different conditions and become subspecies of the same species, Doesn't this suggest that the people that want us to think the earth is a spinning ball and we came from an asteroid and evolved into human beings, hold power over us because they know we came from some other place?

-If Elon musk suggest that tech improves so quickly that in 50 years video games can not be separated from the real world and also suggest that maybe we are already in one due to technology being able to quickly grow exponentially until we reach a point were we are master of reality. Wouldn't it be possible this reality is created, since we know not what came before the big bang?

-If a group of people can play out hoaxes like 9/11 and have all presidents and 1000s of very important people in world history part of that same occult group called freemasons, wouldn't it be possible to actually fake many things?
