kidding haha 🙂 it looks really good

  • ladyshkspre on September 24, 2010

I can't wait to try this recipe. And because I don't think the sausage stuffed inside a pepper was fattening (or greasy for that matter) enough, I'm going to add CHEESE!

  • KewpieGirl on September 24, 2010

wow this is soo easy to make. I'll definitely make that!

  • Cocologo on September 24, 2010

@Zoritsa I was thinking prawns like chopped up in to mince and stuffed it

  • ladyshkspre on September 24, 2010

@1kperday HAHA, I'm sure you meant that sarcastically but I'm from the south so I just might!

  • Jason Derulo on September 24, 2010

@megen1996 thats what i do i sear both sides around 2 min and finish in the oven for 3. it never is tender at all.

  • rusty shackleford on September 24, 2010

all of the people complaining about grease, just stfu. you do realize that fat is the medium of wich heat goes to your food and actually cooks it and is where you get FLAVOR, go eat a fuckin rice cake

  • PennyDreadfuI on September 24, 2010

@foodwishes LOL @ 129 thumbs up for "no"

  • 2Legit2Acquit on September 24, 2010

  • zombiesonar on September 25, 2010

@foodwishes lol I agree in theory Chef 😛 For me theyre meat! but no for my veggie friends id stuff em with fetta, kalamata olive, slither of garlic, pepper and roast capsicum 😛
    Very nice either way 😀

  • Mofolamarmotte on September 25, 2010

The good sir here is right,

  • FaerieDust on September 25, 2010

@Zoritsa Haha, you could probably use some meat substitute thing, like tofu or quorn, but then you have to make your own non-sausage meat (with the spices and all), and it's never quite the same thing 😛 Maybe a cheese and veggie combo could work too? Though it'd have to be a not overy melty cheese, I think, or it'd just melt too much and make a mess… or, like someone said, feta cheese, but then you might need a binding agent (egg? odd with feta..), depending on if the feta's melty or not.. 🙂

  • deraifu on September 25, 2010

@Zoritsa That's a silly question in itself, recipes can be interchanged that's how we have so many great dishes in the world. As for your question yes you could but not just any filling you'll have to tinker around with items and find a filling you like, But it's hard to replace meat so you have a challenge ahead of ya.

  • gohindha89 on September 25, 2010

    @foodwishes can you use a non-pork or non-beef sausage?

  • bluaeon on September 26, 2010

    how about some tofu?

  • sjsawyer on September 26, 2010

I don't think I've seen so many popped cherries at once in my entire life! Except that one time at band camp…

  • FaerieDust on September 26, 2010

@cheesyflames Haha, *I* do, though, so that comment really shouldn't be to me 😛

  • cheesyflames on September 26, 2010

@FaerieDust Sorry, it wasn't meant for you. Just for Zoritsa's "friends". Make the food, if they say they won't eat, JAM IT DOWN THEIR THROATS.

  • skizzz55 on September 26, 2010

  • tiptopluongo on August 16, 2012

He used the same clip of peeling the sausage skin like the one with "spicy sausage ragu pasta sauce" xD

  • Mark Simons on March 13, 2016

Here in Britain you can only get the unstuffed cherry peppers in jars in vinegar. Ugh!
I used to find roasted peppers in oil, but now can only track down in vinegar. Ugh. Useless.

  • etherdog on January 14, 2017

If peppers say ild and CJ thinks they are between mild and spicy, for us mortals they are spicy. Don't over "DEW" the peppers with sausage stuffing.

  • Shanley Shoupe on February 24, 2017

i tried one of those peppers on a hummus sampler at a restaurant without knowing what it was (i dont like bell pepper so I was being brave) and now im OBSESSED THEYRE SO GOOD

  • Clyde Abel on October 7, 2018

  • IGB on August 3, 2021
