Rep Perry is the liar and Liz Cheney is telling the truth. Liz Cheney is absolutely correct in saying that 1 day Trump will be gone but their dishonor to the US will remain. While I disagree with Liz Cheney's politics I cannot deny that she will be on the right side of history. I praise Liz Cheney for the action she has taken. She had a red line and was willing to cross it. This is no longer about conservative vs liberal. This all boils down to right vs wrong and moral vs immoral.
What the GOP members have yet to realize…. There are facts and their are opinions. Liz is not spouting opinion. Mr. Perry is like a kid who just got caught with his hand in the cookie jar (and I believe/hope there are many more GOP folks to be in the same spotlight).
