Born and raised in Texas here. We don’t eat it out of a bag, we don’t crumble the fritos, we don’t used processed cheese slices, canned Wolf chili is a last resort, and eggs typically don’t go into it but I kinda like that idea.
Chili from scratch is always going to be better. A few times a year I make a pot of my chili and consume it a few different ways over a few days; Solo with “cornbread”, chili dogs, or frito pie. I’m a big fan of Gordon. But I have to ask him. “What in the bloody hell are you doing??”

People seem to have a misconception about Ramsay. He seems to not mind canned food or even microwaves, as such. It has to be in context. The idiots on Kitchen Nightmares and Hotel Hell were charging premium prices for canned crap. Stuff like this, with Wolf chili, plastic American cheese at a race track? On POINT!
