@34:05 Sous-chef Yannick was double dipping when tasting the dish. Unsatisfactory!
lol French restaurants do not set the standard on anything especially service.
34:08 chef tastes sauce and then puts same spoon back into the food…. THAT is disgusting.
I wonder if Gordon makes love with his wife how he operates on his show? Hectic! Brilliant chef and teacher – lover – hmmmm not sure.
mystery guest blondie should be banned from eating in restaurants. What a nightmare. Such customers deserve to get food poisoning.
Chef Ramsay, is a master mechanic!
The moment Gordon Ramsay is in the kitchen, all the customers are foodies?
For me the first place was ridiculous. I can't stand restaurants where they spend all of their time making tiny dishes that look pretty. So pretentious.
I feel bad for the rabbits in France.
Like they say “too many cooks spoil the broth”
Having food in courses which we know as "French service" is actually Russian service which the French monarchy copied
Song at 20:10 goes hard
I’d love to eat at La Garrigue
I know you are the Best:)
I would just love to meet him would be a dream
why do i live watching gordon ramsay, plus i live in lincoln!
Hope at some point Gordon hears this, but…. 16 years coaching young men, I've seen few people with such mastery. As a father and coach….. I'd gladly send my sons to him to learn. Just a special kind of man I deeply respect how he does.
Whenever Gordon talks about flavor he’s absolutely right. I went to a French restaurant 11 years ago and had cream of mushrooms. I swear to this day I have not forgotten how good and tasteful that was. I can barely remember how it looks. It’s all about flavor
I honestly think the other restaurant should’ve won. That polenta and fish was a beautiful combination. I’ve had that before. Not from his restaurant but another one. And what the other chef cooked couldn’t have beaten the polenta with fish
When did chandler become a chef?
it's so beautiful gordon forgot about it
la garrigue wouldnt have succeeded in the competition against the other restaurants bc the head chef relies too heavily on the sous chef and it caused them to make careless mistakes … winteringham excelled in the kitchen and only suffered in the service area. im with ramsay on this one
Eww he double dipped 🤮
At 34:06, the chef puts his spoon in the sause to taste, good, then returns the spoon to the sause after his mouth, takes another taste, full soon in his mouth, then again, returns the spoon back to the sause….is this normal practice in kitchens? Because that was F'n disgusting.
Le Bec Fin, – missed the Party at Georges Perrier's place in Philly. sucks.
18:50 is it a Scottish thing for middle aged men to dye their hair blonde?
Gordon loved the way the chef was tasting the food, but come on man, don't take the spoon out of your mouth and put it right back into the food you're going to serve. That's f***ing disgusting! I don't want the chefs spit in my food! If I wanted that I would go to Burger King.
