There's always a first and last time somebody does something, but we rarely see them doing both at once.
As a student of Pasta, let me impart one crucial knowledge to all you novices out there too. Cook the sauce first! Because I tried cooking the pasta first (cooked perfectly I would add), but then I let the pasta cool by itself while it took me 30 minutes to prepare the sauce from scratch. When it came time to invite the pasta into the pan again, it was as sticky as mochi clumped together.

Never oil in pasta water. It prevents the pasta to take up flavours, and its not the seeds that is the hottest part of the chilli fruit. Its the white stems thats holding the seeds. Who is this guy? 😉
