Everything is ok and very nice improvisation until you ruined the chili (just mash it, don't chop it up), and no, it's not that perfect for party because there are few more common and many uncommon recipes, and my favorite called "Tam Pa" roughly translated to Wild/Forest/Jungle Papaya Salad.
