Grilled Greek Chicken Breasts with Whipped Feta – Food Wishes ctm magazine

Just because I almost never grill boneless skinless chicken breasts doesn’t mean I shouldn’t teach those who do the best way to do it. That’s the official reason I’m posting this. The actual reason is that I was looking for an excuse to consume large quantities of whipped feta. Enjoy!

I would have bet money on a ‘whip and nae nae” joke

  • jbadal1 on May 10, 2022

Double cream feta which is like cream cheese and available in deli's seems like a good choice and should work.

  • Bill Farlo on May 10, 2022

if you had blended the roasted peppers with the feta dip it would have been like the real Greek recipe

  • Marion Makarewicz on May 10, 2022

You might have just convinced me to grill some boneless, skinless chicken breasts. I generally avoid that, but I have a teacher appreciation dinner to cook for and I think this would be the ticket!

Dam it! Just saw this posted as I'm grilling bacon cheeseburgers….guess I'll be making a grocery store run and grilling tomorrow too. This looks freaking amazing!!

  • Mark Johns on May 10, 2022

Looks like another banger Chef John! I'm going to use thighs and serve with a cucumber salad

I'm so glad to have found a kindred spirit in Chef John regarding how boring chicken breasts are. For years I thought I disliked chicken bc everyone in the 90s talked about how great breasts were…

  • Blair Westerman on May 10, 2022

I will definitely try this dish soon, looks great.
Chef John, I hate Harry Potter too.

  • Michael on May 10, 2022

150F on the chicken breast John? Must say your such a nice fella, but also the king of salmonella!

  • Eve on May 10, 2022

You know fame hasn't gone to your head when you can still shop at Mallwart, and eat off the floor. BTW this looks awesomely delicious.

  • Tony Montana on May 10, 2022

Are you out of town chef John, is that a hotel parking lot I see you barbecuing in?

  • Willem Bronkhorst on May 10, 2022

Your oil theory is legitimate. I've been adding oil last on al my meat since watching a bbq show that provides some good evidence for the oil creating a barrier (link below if you're interested) .

Hey…. I’m 18 and new to history or newly found the love of history. I asked my grandfather about this but he gave me an explanation I don’t think I can repeat….
Why do people throughout history give Jews a hard time? And do they deserve it??

  • Rudy Leon on May 10, 2022

    Amazing, congratulations, enjoy !!!

  • Jaye Bass on May 10, 2022

  • Jonah Bucy on May 10, 2022

Great recipe! But everyone knows the key to a good Greek marinade is the Windex.

  • En Marche on May 10, 2022

Must try the whipped feta as a spread or as a dip.

  • MagicKing Illustrations on May 10, 2022

You had me at whipped feta 👀

  • Maya C Hill on May 10, 2022

Harry Potter is to my generation as star wars was to yours. So hence the judge eyes 👀👀
As for the greek chicken I wonder if it will come out the same on a cast iron. I make a similar marinade for chx thighs with the cast iron skillet (adding a little brown Sugar for that faux grill flavor) and put it on a salad with cherry toms and tiny mozzarella balls.(fresh basil 🔥🔥) Soo good.

  • J on May 10, 2022

Where do you find chicken like that ?!?!?

Everywhere I look, it’s always covered in fat and full of bloody veins.

  • John Andrew on May 10, 2022

Chef John, did you not end up liking the Big Green Egg?

  • coma12 on May 10, 2022

Your Marquis de Sade, you are after all, was genius along with the recipe.

  • Leon Golgo on May 10, 2022

Thanks for the marinade tip, I didn't know how much the oil issue had been bothering me until you solved it for me!

  • N. D. on May 10, 2022

I prefer my grill that rhymes with web and butter.

  • ChrisC on May 10, 2022

Sadly, all the cooking at Hogwart's was done by slave labor.

  • JCran on May 10, 2022

  • ALPHAFERT on May 10, 2022

Something about this makes me want to cut the chicken smaller & put it on a stick.

  • Thomas Donlin on May 10, 2022

Looks very keto!!! I like that!

  • Gunship on May 10, 2022

  • Phong Nguyen on May 11, 2022

When I was an exchange student in the US, I regular had to eat boiled, unsalted boneless skinless chicken breast. Seeing this really brings back those memories. I dropped like 20 pounds in a year btw.

  • Bill Baker on May 11, 2022

I agree with adding the oil last for all marinades.
Yummo video.. thanks for sharing it.

  • Zrank Fappa on May 11, 2022

Throw it in a pita. Add some roasted cucumber, bell pepper and olives and greek salad dressing. Humus and tziki. Lemon juice in the marinade and a few scrapes of skin.
