I'm an Army veteran. I believe young men including the rich and politicians sons should serve two years in the military. Many countries already do this. I served in Turkey and they require this. Israel does this and it includes women as well. I'm not referring to a draft but instead readiness and opportunities. We would have less thugs burning cities and causing destruction. Women want equal rights so they should be included as well. I can guarantee you that a majority of these young people would enjoy it. Maybe even make a career out of it or use the skills they learn to build up on their civilian work.
My daughter was in the Army throwing grenades in boot camp back in 2000. I was so jealous, because I never even got to touch an M16 when I was in the Marines, not even in boot camp!
I was 11 when the Vietnam War ended.

If there’s a draft and the woman is pregnant and they need to give on pass because of it, then the man that got her pregnant needs to get a pass also in order to be fair and equal.

No, HERE'S why it won't work if there's ever a draft again. They'd all just get pregnant, in order to get out of duty. That's it. That's what they'd do. If you're ACTUALLY serious about it, you should make getting pregnant to get out of service to be a court-martialable offense. Like in world war 1, people were trying to get out of service by intentionally getting trenchfoot, and they'd be wise to that and give them court martials. If men got no leniency for TRENCHFOOT, which is HORRIBLE, women should get no leniency for pregnancy. They should be just given the option of court martial or abortion. If they're at all serious about this leveling the playing field thing.
If you only draft politicians children, you'll have an army of 75- but they should be FIRST OF THE LIST.
Everyone knows that conscripts make terrible soldiers.
In my opinion every able body individual should atleast go through basic training. You should serve you country

The wierdness of the American military system is this: if you can vote then you are technically in the military. The draft only selects the few people they need. It was based loosely on the Swiss system where every citizen is a soldier.

I don't know why he has to make this about penises and vaginas as a whole. It's not a matter of penises and vaginas by default. Yes, men are, for the most part, bigger and stronger than women. Fact. Most women are not fit for war, and most women should not go to war. Fact. But… who would you rather have go fight in war: me (early 30s; 5 feet, 5 inches; 125 lbs), or a young Serena Williams in her early 30s who has had a hysterectomy? Be honest.
