Thank you for making my family aware of what we can do to help Tongans from here in the US. It feels good to help hard working people who also are in agriculture. – a family in Wyoming, USA
What the hell CNN? "Aquaman"? really? Man fought for his life and you give him this BS moniker like it's some kind of joke.
If you have aiga there, send money to help with expenses. If you don't have family there, please wait and see what is ACTUALLY needed.
In large natural disasters people from all over will try to help and that shows a lot about their character, but unfortunately some of those donations can go to waste or cause more harm than good. Tonga is a tropical place, so food can spoil rapidly, same for medical supplies, and what non perishable medical supplies sent WILL just add to plastic waste. If you feel the desire to donate financially, make sure it's an actual reputable source.
Tonga will benefit best by just keeping her and her people in your heart. Fa'afetai.
God bless him!
Hopefully Haiti can be inspired by Tonga's people.

Just read on twitter that this man heard his son calling out for him as he was being swept out, but he didn’t respond because he didn’t want his son to jump in after him.
IF there is a God, or something greater watching us, they surely felt the selfless love this man had for his family and decided to give him the strength to return home. A light in the darkness, this man is.
Volcanic ash is quite devastating to crops currently growing, but generally speaking, it's the volcanic ash that has made Tonga's soil very fertile. The volcanic eruption is an "earth building" process, and is part of the wonder that has created every single land mass that you see around the world today. With that being said, I recognize the human cost of this kind of natural disaster, and my heart goes out to the people of Tonga.
Let's here that Scott guy talk about Biden on anderson Cooper cowards
