I was just talking to a friend about hot beverages and I said my go to is hot cocoa, preferably with wiped cream and mini marshmallows. CAN'T LEAVE OUT THE MINI MARSHMALLOWS. And I was in a voice call while looking up this video and when the mention of being out of mini marsh left my call in hysterical laughter due to me going: HE FOROGOT THE MINI MARSHMALLOOOOWS!!!

In all seriousness tho, this recipe look amazing and I can't wait to try it!

My mother has taught me that when working with pure coco, you need to sift it into whatever it is you're baking, otherwise you might get some bitter lumps

cocoa powder starts with cocoa beans that have been washed in alkaline solution of potassium carbonate. This wash neutralizes their acidity. So,  cocoa powder is neutral. Because it is neutral, it  not react with baking soda. … Oreo cookies are made from dutched cocoa

I am literally one of those few crazy people who don't like chocolate.. but since I have trusted and tried your recipes for a while now, I simply gave it a try and served it without tasting.. and guess what.. the kids loved it.. just changed one item – I used powdered cinnamon instead of cayenne…

  • Antonio Santana on February 8, 2021

Ancient Mayans drank chocolate with chili originally so adding cayenne makes total sense.

  • Ian Visser on March 15, 2021
