How to Add Interactive Travel Maps in WordPress ctm magazine



If you run a travel site on your WordPress you may want a map to help show where you went. Normally this could be done with Google Maps but there is another option that you may want to explore. In this video, we will show you how to add interactive travel maps in WordPress.

Summary of this Tutorial:

Start by installing and activating the Nomad World Map plugin.

This will add a Nomad Map section to your back end.

From here you can add locations you have visited or plan to visit.

You can also edit the location positions and travel dates, after adding everything click save.

With multiple locations there will be a line, you can change the line’s order under the map by rearranging the locations below.

You can also create multiple maps for different pages under Manage maps.

Click Nomad Map, Route Editor to add locations to the new map.

You will use a shortcode to add the map, simply add the id of the map you want to the shortcode.

    Thank you @WPBeginner – WordPress Tutorials If I have photographs with GPS data is there a plug in that you could do a video on that displays a map with each photograph, for example, under each image with GPS data a small map of where the photograph was shot.
