WordPress automatically uses the filename as title for all media files you upload using the media uploader. WordPress leaves the alt text field blank for you to fill in as well, the media title is only used internally. In this video, we will show you how to automatically add media titles in WordPress.

Start by installing and activating the format media titles plugin.

This plugin uses the image file for the title and alt and you can choose how to format it by removing hyphens and underscores, and how to capitalize it.
