Start by installing and activating the Meetup Widgets plugin.
Under Settings, General you will need to add your Meetup API, OAuth consumer, and Oath secret keys.
You can get these keys in the Meetup API website.
The API key is under the API Key link and the consumer and secret keys are under the OAuth Consumers link on the API page.
To add a Meetup.com group event to your site go to Appearance, Widgets to see the two new widgets for this purpose.
The list event will display a list of meetup events for your group and the singe event widget will show a single meetup.
To use the list event simply give the title of your group and the group ID from your group page’s URL.
Using the single event widget and enter the event ID from the event page’s URL.
