In this video, we will show you how to improve the WordPress distraction free writing mode.

Summary of this tutorial:

Log in to your WordPress dashboard and add a plugin under Plugins, Add New.We want to install the Just Writing plugin.

You now want to go under Settings, Just Writing to configure the plugin.

It will send you to your profile page where you want to scroll down and ensure the enable Just Writing checkbox is checked.

You can choose the buttons you want to have available during your distraction free writing using the custom option and then you want to update your profile to save your changes.

There will now be a write area added under posts that when you click it will take you to your post area that is set up how you would like.

As you write the controls on the top of the page will disappear but should you move your mouse to the top of the page you will see your controls again.
