Start by installing and activating the WordPress Download Manager plugin
This will add a menu item called File Manager
Go to File Manager, Settings to configure the settings.
We will keep the defaults and click save
Under New File you can upload your file for download
Give it a title, description, icon, and password protect if you want.
When finished hit create package and you will be able to add it to your posts.

The plugin looks different now than in the video, I don't have the icon in post 'zink' .
I have CKeditor installed and when I deactivated it, I had another icon – which plugin I deactivated bit still no icon for the download manager.
Any tips how to make it work ? 🙂 I need a download counter and this plugin seems cumstomizable andd simple, wish it would work 🙂
Thanks for the video 🙂
