Start by installing and activating the Velvet Blues plugin.
Once activated you can go to Tools, Update URLs.
On this page you will be able to add the link to the old site and the new site URL.
You can choose which items to update and then click update urls and now all references to the old address will be updated.

what happens if my domain didn't change just my host.
maybe you should actually show what to type into the fields with some examples. you literally just show what everyone can see, i dont know what to type into the fields.
Can i use this plugin for updating to https? I.ex. old http://test.test to new https://test.test ?
I followed these directions and the plugin didn't work. Not only that it completely jacked up my site. I reached out to the makers of the plugin and it's been 72 hours with no response whatsoever. What am I supposed to do now???
