I would think that the towel on top would actually be bad. Any warm air is going to rise out the top, so by putting the towel on top you're trapping the warm air in with the ice cream.

Hello, does anyone know is there any web site where you can check and buy used stuff in Italy? Machines for ice cream Carpigiani and etc…
    Thank you so much!

You didn't add vanilla, I am confused Tbh because you will be able to taste the egg yokes and I don't think that that's a pleasing experience but it looks perfect though

This recipe is very similar to French vanilla custard-style ice cream–only without the vanilla. Thanks for another fun, simple and entertaining demo video. Molto bene! Ms. ECstreet 🙂 P.S. – Chef, are you by chance a singer? You have a very sing-songy speaking voice–almost as if you're singing the recipe!

This is the best ice cream i’ve made. All recipes i’ve tried turned solid rock after a few days. This remained soft and creamy!

When I went to Italy, I was told that the one flavor of gelato I must try was crema. So I gone some and my immediate reaction was "New York vanilla", which is one of my least favorite flavors.

Made this several times now – EXCELLENT (but don't forget to add the SALT to the initial mixture!).

Why the olive oil works? Same as olive oil lemon raspberry came does. Don't know why, it just does. Gotta try it, to believe it!

How is this Gelato rather than a regular ice cream? Because Gelato has less air incorporated into it, but wouldn't an electric ice cream maker incorporate the regular amount of air in it? Just wondering… still a great video 👍
