much respect to Usman. When he said "I'm a martial artist… I don't get into all this trash talk", that said it all for me. Also, just 6 days ago Masvidal looked damn chunky and had to lose 20 lbs fast, while Usman is in top shape. I think Masvidal is being over-confident coming into this fight with such little notice. But we'll see.
Usman has a lot of respect for Masvidal. I feel like he is trying to present himself as different than what we've seen in the past where he was angry and going back and forth with opponents, but he gives away his true feelings when he starts calling fans casuals. That says that he resents (rightfully so) the way fans disrespect him constantly. Like every other sport, most of the fans are haters.
