Republicans sure are amazing at cutting off their nose to spite their face… Hopefully only districts whose representatives voted for it get the money from this bill. Don't want to vote for the bill? Then you shouldn't get any money from it. McCarthy's district can let their infrastructure crumble, decay, and take care of their own kids instead of crying about how they can't find day care.

But that's been the role of all the Bootlicking Congressional Republicans since Trump was ousted. Nothing new here. And McCarthy could have used that 8 hours to say something meaningful and constructive. Instead he squandered the time to talk smack and say nothing relevant. But that's what he and most of the Congressional Republicans do now. Talk smack and say and do nothing constructive for the American people. They spend so much time…like McCarthy licking their wounds they've forgotten that they were elected to represent "the
people " not their own personal agendas. And so while Fox Fake News once again misrepresents McCarthy's speech as a "SmackDown" the reality is it's a boring, feeble attempt at obstruction just for the sake of obstruction.
