When you limit logon attempts on your WordPress website, you keep hackers from breaking into your site by guessing your admin password. By default you can attempt logins as many times as you like, by changing this you can add another layer of security to your site. Summary of this Tutorial:
By default WordPress lets users enter password as many times as they want.
To limit this, start by installing and activating the Login LockDown plugin.
Then go to Settings, Login LockDown to configure.
You can choose how many times they can try, the lockdown length and lockout on invalid username.

Hey, I posted this question on the other video regarding limit login:
Hey, thanks for the video! I have a question: Both plugins, "Limit Login Attempts" and "Login Lockdown" have not been updated for a long time (the former for 4 years!). Hence both are not compatible with the newest WP version and I've read that this is a security risk. "Limit Login Attempts" had not been updated for three years when you released this video; why? How often does a developer need to update a plugin in general?
