Master Sushi Chef Hiroyuki Terada is one of the top Japanese Chefs in the entire world and the most popular Japanese chef on YouTube.
At age 10, Terada learned the basics of sushi from his father and then went on to attend RKC Chef’s School in Kochi, Japan from 1987-1989. He soon earned a nickname for his fast knife, attention to detail, divine presentation and ability to create new dishes and accents based on traditional Japanese cuisine. After graduating RKC Chef School, he was called to serve under Master Chef Kondo at Yuzuan restaurant in Kochi, Japan from 1989-1992. Chef Hiroyuki Terada is using the Minonokuni Matsu-1573 210mm Yanagi. Super Blue Steel. Can also be used for breaking down whole fish and chickens. But normally for slicing, sashimi, vegetables, meat etc.. This is Chef Hiro’s custom specked knife.

Always here for Hiro adventures, especially with Wagyu. Much love from Florida! Oh lord the roll of film from the steakhouse is absolutely stunning. Love the parts with just sounds of guests in the background of Michelin level talent. Really humanizes these places that I only dream of going to one day. Dustin is an incredible human. You can tell he was trained by the best, the way he cooks for his team. His idea of Family meal (staff meal) is so endearing. This is on my list whenever I make it to the west coast. What a great episode.
I'm going to be in San Francisco in March! Do you recommend going to Niku Steakhouse.

I'll argue if you take a good grass fed steak and cook it in it's own tallow with salt pepper rosemary thyme it will be better then any expensive steak you can buy

Why did the guy dude cutting the steaks discard the trimmings I'd be so pissed knowing that I paid almost 200 bucks to not get the entire steak. I'd be damned if let someone cut my steak for me. I am able to cut my ow meat. Damn that I'm not 3 I can do it

Isn't it kind of contradicting for that restaurant owner to say, "it's about appreciating the animal" if they're being slaughtered for people to consume?
It would make more sense to let them be if you appreciate the animals. We don't just go around appreciating something by showing we slaughter them and then eat it.
