  • cengeb on January 21, 2022

Drive it like car and driver did…at 160 mph it don't stop or steer properly….$140,000 audis or porshe handle at that speed…this is not ready for road use…can't do what's claimed properly

  • Nonyank S on January 21, 2022

    Breath Corey!

  • pedantic79 on January 21, 2022

The biggest thing the plaid needs for the track is the $20k carbon ceramic brakes upgrade that Tesla has planned.

  • mguennewig on January 21, 2022

You definitely don't have to precondition or wait for peak performance in drag strip mode. In my experience it makes no difference. Just get in and go! That uneven/dirty pavement right at the start of your launch doesn't help your 0-60 either lol

  • PJ on January 21, 2022

so Tesla Plaid does 0-60 in 20 minutes and 2.35 seconds 😀
Thanks for showing the whole truth 😉

  • Greg Fredericks on January 21, 2022

Corey you lucky guy ! I just dream of my Model S 100D going like that. Too bad I'm a FSD beta tester because I would be kicked out of the program if I drove like that. 🙂

  • Zak Rhajiak on January 21, 2022

That's hilarious, 20min to drag race someone… meanwhile the Porsche Taycan Turbo S has done numerous 1/4mi and 1/2mi runs, a few laps around a track and topped up its battery…

  • Vincent Karaboulad on January 21, 2022

I love that Corey is being brought to the forefront like that. I sense a passing of torch might be looming.

  • Eriberto Mares on January 21, 2022

Can't wait for the tear down videos

  • who2u333 on January 21, 2022

Tear it up before you tear it apart.

  • Jkh 70 on January 21, 2022

I need to see just how the drive motors are made. The wrapped in carbon fibre thing sounds interesting.

  • cengeb on January 21, 2022

Vw golf r does 171 mph on the autobahn…and under control…100 mph is nothing..

  • Nicolas Lagas on January 21, 2022

Another brillant demonstration that the Yoke is crap for track mode

  • Bogdan Niculae on January 21, 2022

Reaction video with no reaction Oo

  • cengeb on January 21, 2022

Steering looks like it is way too loose…not set right..

  • fred993a on January 21, 2022

Cory – You are an incredible driver!

  • TheJesusFreeke on January 21, 2022

Gosh I want to come see it so bad before the teardown. Can you share the approximate timeline for that starting?

  • david gimber on January 21, 2022

At first I was like “what no helmet?” But then seeing your face as your working car hard, priceless. Your use and flow of the new yoke looks awesome and naturally comfortable.

  • no112358 on January 21, 2022

i hate the "wheel", when you spin out it must be completely confusing where to grab… Tesla ditch that shit.

  • Gaetan Fortin on January 21, 2022

I saw the Ionic 5, are you going to do the same as the Plad? Would be nice to see how it does!

  • tk11 jin on January 21, 2022

    That was fun 🤩.

  • Phil Pan on January 21, 2022

They should put a much smaller battery pack for such use, because range is irrelevant and making the vehicle a lot lighter should improve performance.

  • DLWELD on January 21, 2022

I want to see a Tesla doing the "moose" test – the quick swerve and recovery to avoid a moose – some cars actually fall over – a Mercedes actually flipped. Bet the low centre of gravity in a Tesla would be good.

  • Robert Greenlee on January 21, 2022

RIP to the all season tires.

  • John PublicProfile on January 21, 2022

Cory, I hope you let the other boys play with your shiny toy. Not fair hogging it to your self.

  • RC Robinson-san on January 21, 2022

    proper breathing is necessary!!!!!

  • Alex Pintilescu on January 21, 2022

Strip The interior…. aaand….do some launches:)))

  • Mr C on January 21, 2022

I am glad to see you got it out to have some fun before tearing it down. I am both saddened and excited for the teardown.

  • Lillian Steuben on January 21, 2022

Cory, I imagine this is what I sound like in labor.

  • Karl Ushanka on January 21, 2022

Even the dash display is plaid!
    Tesla has harnessed the Schwartz!

  • Tes-stache on January 21, 2022

    WOW!! i want his job!!

  • Chantillian on January 21, 2022

This is more fun when viewed in 2x playback speed. 😉

  • MonsterSound on January 21, 2022

While you were waiting you should have been running 0 – 60 tests anyway. You could have recorded the Not a huge difference.

  • jo jones on January 21, 2022

    Stick to taking shit apart.

  • Macario Belmontes on January 21, 2022

How come you didn’t precondition on the way there? Also You sound shy. are you exited that u driving that plaid ? Then show it show your emotions don’t be shy awesome video though 💯🔥

  • Alison L on January 21, 2022

Love it! Wish Corey had been thinking out loud to walk us through his thoughts. Fun recap though. 😊

  • Tommy Vaske on January 21, 2022

Maaan, that was a bat out of hell (RIP Meat Loaf) if I ever seen one… During your laps, I found myself leaning in my chair and trying to parry the g-forces. 😄Intense.

  • Timothy Webb on January 21, 2022

Cannot wait to see you try out the Roadster SpaceX addition 🙂

  • Darby Elliott on January 21, 2022

That would've been super cool with a flying drone filming you on the course!

  • jay deister on January 21, 2022

Great video! Looking forward to the breakdown!

  • Rambler Andy on January 21, 2022

To see that car fire itself out of corners is just amazing. I suspect that a Model 3 Performance would be a little bit faster overall, but that kick in the back, that an EV, does takes some beating. I have a Performance Pro ID.3 and it punches surprisingly well out of bends, in Sport mode, but that Model S Plaid must be akin to taking steroids with a cherry on top.

  • Nøderak on January 21, 2022

  • Dieter Zerressen on January 21, 2022

Looks like you got you buzz back pretty quickly.
