Nevada woman will get medal for shielding brother from gunfire

Southern Nevada officers have awarded a 10-year-old woman a medal for her bravery when she protected her youthful brother throughout a taking pictures.

The Las Vegas Overview-Journal stories Clark County commissioners declared June 5, 2018 as “Aaliyah Inghram Day.”

The woman and her household have been caught within the crossfire of a Could eight taking pictures whereas they have been in an east Las Vegas parking zone.

Aaliyah was shot within the buttocks whereas shielding her youthful siblings and her cousin. Her mom, Samantha Tygrit, was shot within the shoulder.

Aaliyah is scheduled to have surgical procedure this month to take away the bullet.

All the kids concerned will obtain trauma counseling.
