Until it is determined what to do about guns themselves, and how to curtail these young people that are being responsible for the killing. They need to guard the schools.
There needs to be guards at every door of the schools and there needs to be locks on the doors, There should not be anybody able to come into the school freely.
Just like they have locked up hospitals,.. in other words lock the doors of hospitals. They need to lock the doors of the schools while the kids are in there for protection and have guards at the doors. IT HAS GOTTEN THAT BAD… AND they need to do it Now because there's going to be copycat KILLER'S!!!
PLUS think about all the people coming up through the border that come from very violent countries.

I pray for the families in Uvalde. I have three kids. I remember a night our daughter went missing. My wife and I scoured the neighborhoods in a state of dread, helplessness and a fear that was unmatched. All was okay in the end, but that day still hunts me. These 19 families are going to live with this loss for the rest of their lives with imaginable suffering. I pray for peace for the families in Uvalde.
Anyone who commits murder should lose their citizenship to this country, once they serve their time they should be evicted from the United States.

Lock all doors to schools after the school day starts. We donโt have mass school shootings in Chicago because they lock the doors. You have to check in with the principalโs office to get access. No matter how small or โcloseโ your town, have all schools lock the doors so that no one can get in once the school day starts.

Police officers can not be every where to prevent tragedies from happening. But I would love to see them get some help if the state or local governments would allow veterans to protect these schools. Many people have suggested this idea on several occasions, and unfortunately it has been done after a massacre has happened. This idea can dramatically make an immediate impacteed on keeping our children safe, and make soft targets harder to infiltrate. Having 4-6 veterans at an elementary school, during school hours will make a threat think twice about hurting our children.
