My last job I could barely pay rent and my living expenses. I worked long hours six days a week until the day I knew I couldn't afford to go to work anymore and had to quit They squeeze you with uniform, commuting costs and the cost of having to supply your own tools.

World fires, rising tensions between Russia and other nations, global pollution, food and clean water shortage, global warming, and a global pandemic just to name a few of the world ending events we have happening all at once and all humans can do is laugh, argue, be ignorant or outright dismissive.
The world IS going to end and its gonna be soon I give us less than 30 years to turn things around but human logic isn't good enough to avoid obvious catastrophe.

So I'll just say, thanks Earth for all of the good days I could spend outside breathing air before it became unbreathable from the factory smog and nuclear fallout.
And thank you Humanity for the fun times, creations, and laughs before they were lost to destruction, crying, and despair.

We are of the world and we are the end of it.

I'll tell you my experience with union I worked at a golf resort and union came in to maintenance the company fired everyone and subcontracted, I was in house keeping we were told to to mention the word Union or obviously we would be fired , long story short I was injured on the job which led to failed surgeries to me never being able to work again. If we were unionized I would have been taken care of so here I sit in Social security poor ! Go union protect yourselves! Yes it cost more but in the long run your protected! These big companies have millions and when it comes to you against them standing alone you dont have a pot to pee in!

I was in the process of selecting a gym during the shutdown, so I altered my workout to home workout/street running. I have to say, going running during a time when the majority population of the city I lived in were locked inside was a post-apocalyptic dream sequence. Because I was completely alone during 5 weeks of the shut down, I chose to work on Self instead of simmering in the juices of fear (not that I wasn't afraid, but it had to be a conscious choice to work on my body so I wouldn't lose my mind). I must say, I really whipped my yard in shape, too 😁

  • Chris W on January 22, 2022

I love how we "had" people on the moon 60 freaking years ago before when it wasn't so technologically advanced. But in 2022, it's like "do we want to go back, meh?" Seems pretty suspicious.

  • Chris W on January 22, 2022

People left jobs because they realized their lives mean more and employers don't understand that. Work office flexibility would probably help and not dumping tons of work on others, and compensation would also help to retain quality people.

Andre…and everyone in fashion. Your in a superficial world that makes the world unkind. Of course your world is harsh. Hope you enjoy your armor. Without this industry society would be so much better. Let's learn to put this 6 ft down.

Did they resign? or were they let go because they dont want to get jabbbed? or they are baby boomers who are retirable?

Some people are just LAZY!!!! and want the government to pay them not to work

  • Jose A Cardenas on January 22, 2022

Reality hit with the Pandemic. Labor was in high demand in essential jobs. Their employers rewarded the with higher pay while others didn’t care and they were at high risk of exposure. Empathy played a big role.

I've gotten hit directly by a car, two trucks, and a Greyhound bus in my lifetime. Hopefully, it will never happen again !!! 🤪

We realized our employer's needed us more than we needed them. Yeet

  • soundwavsonny on January 22, 2022

If I create one million new jobs for Americans and those jobs range from $7-13 with the average cost of living being $60,000 annually I wouldn't boast about any records. You'd sound very foolish.
