    Just made this for lunch. My chicken breasts were skinless, but nevertheless, they came out nicely browned on the outside and juicy on the inside. I seasoned with salt, pepper, dried thyme and tarragon; used Amish butter and Ginger balsamic vinaigrette for the sauce. So delicious!! My man was very pleased, as well as impressed. Thank you Chef John! 🙂

    Love Lemon Tyme with Baked Chicken.
    But I like Pan Roasted more on the basic side, so ai can use a Soy Ginger, Wickets, ore another marinate type sauce as a dip at the Table!

    Everything I've ever read in my life about chicken says it is food safe at 165 degrees. Wouldn't 155 be too early to take off?

    I think you gotta make it clearer about deglazing the pan. Use a plastic scraper if you've got something coated, but make sure you get that caramelised stuff mixed into the sauce and onto the chicken.

    I cannot thank you enough. This is the first time I’ve ever successfully cooked anything in my life. Ever. That wasn’t pre-packaged or mostly already done for you. I have been a kitchen failure my whole life. This base “recipe” has completely changed not only MY life but my love life as well, as my boyfriend seems always less than pleased with my cooking abilities. He literally got excited when I made Mac and cheese out of the box cuz he knew I couldn’t mess it up and the only “rave review”‘ I’ve ever truly gotten from him was chili cheese dogs (literally microwaved hot dogs, microwave chili from a can over buns with cheese and I bought him Fritos and sprite). Like—I feel he’s scared whenever I claim I’ve made something and his mother was a home-ec teacher.
    I feel like a failure at being his woman and at just life skills. This ONE INSTRUCTIONAL. has changed my life. I’m literally 41, never succeeded in the kitchen before.

    Also, it’s the very first highly detailed recipe for something basic that is also highly versatile. Every single “easy” recipe is some mommy blogger idiot who puts mushrooms or some b.s. ingredient I hate or my boyfriend hates. It literally takes so many pans and utensils and you need to know how to stand on your head and also read her whole stupid life story…..
    But apparently you can also do it in 5 minutes from frozen in your Instant Pot.

    So to say how much I love your channel and it’s beautiful simplicity and how you DO NOT talk down to us at all…. is an understatement.
